This was a period piece, in which we recreated a rococo frame. I first research the time period (the 16th century) and style and choose some inspiration pictures. I created a copper effect similar to the styles of the time as well as ornate details which i molded.
Also, I looked at the styles of paintings used within this frame, I then created an arrangement of objects to visualise the painting I wanted in my frame. As the style was realism I used the shading/light, blemishes and textures on the real objects and reflected this in my painting.
